Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Eco-friendly, high-energy pellets produced in Bjelovar – ideal for heating family homes, commercial spaces, and industrial systems.

1. How many tons of pellets do I need for a heating season?
For a standard 100 m² home, average consumption ranges from 4 to 6 tons per season. The exact amount depends on insulation, the desired indoor temperature, and weather conditions.

2. What’s the difference between your pellets and store-bought ones?
BK Wood pellets are made from 100% dry, clean, bark-free wood with no chemicals. They offer higher calorific value, less ash, and more consistent quality as they come directly from the producer.

3. Is your production certified?
Yes, our production meets high European standards, and we are in the process of obtaining the official ENplus A1 certification, which guarantees the highest quality for wood pellets.

4. What is the shelf life of your pellets?
If properly stored (in a dry and ventilated place), pellets can last up to 2 years without losing quality.

5. How much ash is left after burning?
Our pellets produce less than 0.7% ash, meaning minimal cleaning and extended lifespan of your stove or boiler.

6. Are BK Wood pellets suitable for all stoves and boilers?
Yes, our 6 mm standard-diameter pellets are compatible with all modern pellet devices that support the ENplus standard.

7. How are the pellets packaged and delivered?
Pellets are packed in 15 kg bags. The minimum order is 1 pallet (around 1050 kg), and delivery is made directly to your address anywhere in Croatia.

8. Can I pick up the pellets myself?
Yes, personal pickup is available at our warehouse in Bjelovar by prior arrangement.

9. How long does delivery take after ordering?
Standard delivery takes between 3 and 5 working days, depending on your location and order size.

10. How can I order pellets?
You can contact us via the web form, phone, or email. Our team will get back to you with a personalized offer and delivery details.

11. What if I don’t have indoor storage space?
We recommend keeping the pellets under a canopy or covered with a tarp on a pallet – the key is to protect them from moisture, which affects performance.

12. Can BK Wood pellets be used in industrial heating systems?
Yes, due to their consistent quality and high calorific value, our pellets are also suitable for larger boiler rooms and industrial heating systems.
